The village of Montricher, at an altitude of 1200 m, is located 5 km before Les Karellis station.
In its traditional oven, artisanal bread making on Thursday mornings, July 11 and 25 and August 1 and 22.

ALBANNE

The village of Albanne, at an altitude of 1600 m, is located 6 km from the resort.
Every Wednesday (the day may vary), a guided tour of the village of Albanne and its baroque church is organised. Possibility of accessing it on foot from the Karellis. Meet in the Albanne car park at 10:00 am. Without registration, free.

SAINT-MICHEL-DE-MAURIENNE

20 km from the resort, visit the Espace Alu: interactive and immersive museum dedicated to the epic of aluminum in the Alps

AUSSOIS

The Esseillon barrier, located 45 km from the resort, invites you to discover 5 forts built by the Kingdom of Piedmont-Sardinia between 1819 and 1834. A stroll through the heart of history and guided tours will introduce you to these fortifications.

SAINT-JEAN-DE-MAURIENNE

Located 15 km from the resort, visit Saint Jean de Maurienne, the historic capital of Maurienne: 

  • The cathedral, the cloister, the crypt
  • The Museum of Mauritian Traditions and Costumes in the former Episcopal Palace
  • The unmissable Opinel knife museum, open every day except Sunday and public holidays, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 14 p.m. to 19 p.m.
